i dont care if apple has to rename the iPhone to iShit, i need this iphone on verizon, i would bring my hole family to verizon (atleast 7 new activations verizon) i know thats what matters, we need this phone

I’d go AT&T or tmobile since they are the only two companies that still use sim cards and I doubt AT&T or tmobile will stop using them for a while

Verizon and AT&T are merging so yes Verizon is getting the Iphone but it will most likely be more like September.

I’m with Verizon and I’m hoping they get the Nexus 1. Snap Dragon processor… super fast, the Android Market Place’s apps are well over 10,000 and growing… I like the iphone, but after being around for so many years, it seems kinda like yesterday’s news.

They get the *-phone in January. Not that it really matters. AT&T will be gone soon enough. No way they can compete for long now, even WITH exclusive rights to *-phone.

@only1andrew they dont need it, they got the name of the most reliable network without the iphone, doesnt need it to slow them down, at first I wanted verizon to get iphone, but you see where ATT is at, they depended on the iphone over the years to keep them in business, but what do you think will happen when they dont have it anymore? Exactly y verizon doesnt need it, they can do bigger and better with other manufacturers

1. Rooted Droid gets 1.7 GHz now.
2. The Droid has a better GPU than the Incredible, Evo, or Nexus.
3. 1 GHz android phone + root > iPhone 4.

moto droid processor runs at 550 MHz
droid incredible snapdragon runs at 1 GHz
iphone4 A4 chip runs at 1 Ghz

This is not only the Droid’s Anthem, it’s all of the Android platform’s anthem! The iPhone was innovative in its’ own time, but evolution took its’ course. This is an open source platform over multiple devices over multiple carriers, where ALL can develop for. This is the future!

Not really. The iPhone 4 only has a better processor with more ram. All its other improvements only brought it up to par with the Droid.
The Droid X and Droid 2 are coming next month and believe me, they’re monsters.
